7. Cosmic Egg
New Creative Beginning
It is exhilarating to bear witness to the repeated, almost daily, new beginnings within Lemuria. Our ancestors confirm, will tell those of us who will listen, that one cannot begin anything without knowing its beginning. Consequently, many cultures evolved creation ceremonies which today are witnessed less frequently. The celebrations of New Year are a remnant of these practices.
A Creation Story:
In the beginning there were only waters and darkness.
In the beginning, at the time when the heavens, sun , moon, stars, planets and the land had not appeared, when nothing had come forth

Enchanteur draws a mandala on the floor in front of you, a drawing which will be preserved, which will name you. The mandala is one tool you will use on this journey to help identify your ‘alter ego’, the part of you which will stand proudly under the Soul Food spotlight.
Meditate upon the mythical history of the gods, the ancestors, mankind. Invoke the Goddess and implore her to create again, to release your creative spirit, from the egg and give it full reign. Begin mindmapping within the mandala, draw and write your creative self into being.
It is this creative self which will move on from mining to the next phase of the journey.

this will be a real challenge. I have long wanted to have a go at making a mandala and now I am instructed to go forth and “mandala-y” – what a thrill!

Oh, and Heather love, Your artwork is growing better by leaps and bounds. Especially your portraiture, and the human face and figure are a challenge to recreate on paper or canvas.
Mandala? Someone said “Mandala?” Right up my alley!
I think I like this concept a lot (: I’ll be back with a creation later today hopefully.
And who would have thought that those beginnings would expand into what we have today…a creative universe
occupied by so many talented people who are reaching for the stars.
