Through the Portal

I clambered through the portal, turned to see a new and exciting vista before me. This must be the mythical land of Enchanteur. Mt Difficult rises before me and the land sings, greeting me. I wrap the cloak of silence around myself and drink in the air, sit quietly just watching, waiting for any guides to appear. There is no sign of Enchanteur, the land seems empty, but wait, what is this bag beside me….?

The future in the bag? Your perception takes my breath away. I do feel like I am stepping tentatively in to the future and the world that surrounds me feels like soul country. For the moment I will sit quietly, here on the remains of this burned out tree, one that Aboriginals burned long ago, and consider what is beyond within that horizon.
Or you could grab some charred wood from the burned out tree and find a wall and tell a story.
You could.
And we’ll sit and listen.
Funny that you should mention the charred wood A.M. I have been doing charcoal drawings and I will load a drawing I have done and tell a story for you girls to listen to Lori. And I thought I was sitting on a log in a deserted landscape
